Care Assistant
Are you a caring person? Do you want to do something genuinely rewarding and work in a job where you can go home feeling like you have given something back?
As a care worker you will visit the homes of elderly, disabled and vulnerable adults to provide a range of services which enable them to live independently. You’ll find that no two days are the same, but one thing for sure is that you’ll get to know your clients, their likes and dislikes, and by working with them you’ll be helping them stay safely in their own home. Here are some of the things you might support with:
- Assisting with all aspects of personal care tasks.
- Promoting independence.
- Support with shopping.
- Administration of medication
- Support with housekeeping tasks.
- Assist in the safe lifting, transferring and movement of clients.
- Liaising with family and professionals.
- Record shift logs and report any changes to the management team.
Requirements for the role:
- Caring nature.
- RQF Level 2 (Desirable not essential)
- 2 Satisfactory references.
- Satisfactory DBS check.
Competitive salary
Minimum working hours: 37.5 hours p/w
